UW Health welcomed its first patients to the new Pleasant T. Rowland Transplant Clinic at University Hospital this morning. The new 10,000-square-foot clinic serves adult patients who are being evaluated for or who have received an organ transplant, as well as those who give the gift of life through living organ donation.

Jefferson Health is among the highest-ranked transplant institutes across the country for one-year graft survival outcomes for heart, liver, kidney, and kidney/pancreas transplants, according to the semi-annual report released by the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) in July 2022.

Six of the 11 Mayo Clinic hospitals across the organization, including Mayo Clinic Rochester, Arizona, and Florida, received earned five stars for Overall Hospital Quality from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)—the best score possible. The national average is 3 of 5 stars.

For the eleventh year in a row, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Emory University Hospital the No. 1 hospital in Georgia and metro Atlanta in the regional rankings in U.S. News Best Hospitals issue.

Mayo Clinic has been ranked the No. 1 hospital in the nation for the seventh consecutive year in U.S. News & World Report’s 2022–2023 “Best Hospitals” rankings. U.S. News & World Report first published state rankings in 2012, with Mayo Clinic in Rochester ranked No. 1 in Minnesota since the beginning.

NYU Langone Health is the top hospital in New York State and No. 3 in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Hospitals” Honor Roll released today.

In U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals rankings, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is nationally recognized as High Performing in aortic valve surgery, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), colon cancer surgery, diabetes, heart attack, heart bypass surgery, heart failure, kidney failure, lung cancer surgery, prostate cancer surgery and stroke.

For the 22nd consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has recognized UCI Medical Center as one of America’s Best Hospitals. The annual rankings recognize hospitals that excel in treating the most challenging patients and conditions.
